Island Pest Control, Inc. was established in March of 1979. As a result of our commitment to service, our customers, our employees and our community, we have become the
largest locally owned pest control service in the area. We are based on Hilton Head Island and have a satellite office in Beaufort. Island Pest Control, Inc. is a full
service pest control company offering termite protection, general pest control, Termite control, Mosquito control and wildlife control on all residential and
commercial properties.

Hilton Head Island, Bluffton, and Beaufort are truly beautiful areas in which to live. The population growth and standard of living in the “Lowcountry” region of South Carolina
is remarkable. There is one problem in paradise, however, bugs. They eat our food and homes, repulse and scare us, make us itch and our pets itch and worst of all…they don’t pay
property taxes!
There is a solution to this problem. Island Pest Control, Inc. We are the largest full-service, locally owned pest control company in the area. Our Men In Blue are highly trained
and closely supervised. We use the highest quality materials available in the industry.
Training our technicians is the single most important responsibility we have. The major focus areas in the training of our technicians include: biology, insect
identification and characteristics, pesticide compound chemistry and how they affect pests, equipment usage and care, various types of construction and knowing our
customers.
During phase I all new service technicians are teamed with a certified licensed technician for the first three months of employment. During this time new technicians
are introduced to company policy, supplied with technical study materials and work as an apprentice under the direct supervision of one of our certified applicators.
During Phase II, our new service technicians are evaluated, enrolled in a Purdue University correspondence course in Pest Control Technology and must successfully
complete an examination administered by Clemson University regulatory and public service program.

Upon successful completion of the Purdue University course and successful completion of the state certification test our technicians are fully trained and educated in the field of
pest control. They then enter Phase III, ongoing training. Island Pest Control, Inc. is very active in the South Carolina Pest Control Association and the National Pest
Management Association. Both organizations offer ongoing education and advanced training in pest control. We also work cooperatively with many pesticide formulators such as Dow
Chemical in training seminars and field studies.
We believe experience, education and ongoing training are key in providing our customers with the highest trained service technicians in the industry. As a homeowner you do receive
